HEC Automotive BV attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy, we want to provide clear and transparent information on how we handle your personal data.

We make every effort to ensure your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. HEC Automotive BV complies at all times with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). This means that we:

Processing of personal data of Customers and Suppliers

Personal data of customers or suppliers are processed by HEC Automotive BV for the following purposes:

– Administrative purposes;
– Communication about orders;
– Carrying out or handling an order.

The basis for processing this personal data is:

– The agreed order.

For the above purposes, HEC Automotive BV may request the following personal data from you:

– First name;
– Insertion;
– Last name;
– Driver’s license number;
– Date of birth;
– (Business) Telephone number;
– (Business) E-mail address;
– Gender.

Your personal data will be stored by HEC Automotive BV for the duration of processing for the above purposes, and then for up to 7 years in financial records.

Provision to Third Parties

We may pass on the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for carrying out the purposes described above. For example, we use third parties for:

– Taking care of the internet environment of our AVG program;
– Taking care of the (financial) administration.

We never provide personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. We make agreements with these parties to ensure the security of your personal data. We do not provide your data to other parties, unless required or permitted by law. For example, if the police request (personal) data from us as part of an investigation, in which case we are obliged to cooperate and provide the requested data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us written permission to do so.

Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties outside the EU.

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent is given by a parent, guardian or legal representative.

Retention period

HEC Automotive BV does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, or as long as required by law.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unlawful processing. Some of the measures we have taken include:

– All employees who have access to your data on behalf of HEC Automotive BV are required to keep it confidential;
